Does Prime offer pickup & delivery for service?

Yes! Prime Automotive is now offering pickup & delivery for service at absolutely no charge. If your vehicle is in need of an oil change, tire rotation, or any other vehicle maintenance need, give one of our service centers a call. We'll arrange to have your vehicle picked up, serviced, and returned within a timely manner. Additionally, all Prime locations are in compliance with CDC guidelines to ensure that the proper sanitary precautions and measures are taken to benefit both employees and consumers alike.

Does Prime provide any free maintenance services?

Absolutely! Prime Automotive is proud to provide a vehicle health check for consumers to take advantage of, which includes checking tire pressure, fluid levels, battery power, and many others as well. Contact a Prime location near you to learn more.

What are the benefits of preventative maintenance?

The biggest benefit of frequent service is safety. When you bring your vehicle in for service, our factory-trained technicians can examine other components of your car. Getting frequent service will also enhance the longevity of your vehicle.

How often should I service my vehicle?

We know there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to auto service. How often you service your car depends on how much you drive, how well your vehicle is maintained, and the surfaces of road you drive on. Prime Automotive proudly services all makes and models ranging from compact sedans, mid to large SUVs, trucks, and many more!

How often do I need tires?

New tire frequency is heavily reliant on driving patterns. We recommend getting your tires checked every 12,000 to 15,000-miles to prevent any damage that can get costly. You should replace your tires every 3-4 years. While you are at our service facility, we can check and rotate your tires to ensure they are in good condition.

If your brakes squeal or grind when you press down on the pedal, then you may need new brake pads or rotors. If it feels like your vehicle is taking a long time to stop, visit one of our service departments so we can diagnose the problem before it gets worse.

How often do I need an oil change?

We recommend getting an oil change every 3,000 to 5,000-miles. Some newer models can even go longer. If you're interested in something more than just conventional oil, synthetic oil is another great option as well. Synthetic oil provides a plethora of added benefits,  including fewer emissions, better fuel economy, increased engine production, enhanced all-weather protection, and many more. In addition to the added benefits, change intervals are also longer, spanning 10,000-15,000-miles or once a year whichever comes first.

How often should I change my air filter?

Your engine air filter should be changed every 15,000-30,000-miles, depending on your driving conditions. Your cabin filter should be changed about once a year.

When should I replace my car battery?

Depending on your driving habits and weather conditions, you should consider changing your car battery every 3-4 years to ensure that your vehicle continues to run smoothly.

What if my check engine light comes on?

If your check engine light comes on, be sure to bring your vehicle down to one of our locations so we can inspect it for you.

Can I schedule a service appointment online?

Yes, you can set up your next service appointment online at the Prime location that's closest to you. If you are a returning customer, you can login with your credentials. If you're new here, let us know more about the make, year, and model of your vehicle. After, you can select the type of service you need for your vehicle.
